More details…

Today has been a great day. I have only had one class so far, but I predict a good semester. I feel more empowered and prepared. I made a list (note the picture) that I hope will keep me on track of things and help me keep the clutter in my head organized. I also have prepared ahead some of the things that stressed me out last semester (RA type things). Finally, I am looking forward to my classes – each for different reasons. This afternoon I had Intro to Economics. This class scares me a bit, but I think it will be very helpful for me post-graduation, so I am determined to do well. I am also taking a 20th Century History class that intimidates me as well, but this will go hand in hand with my 20th Century Poetry class, so because of that I am excited. I LOVE POETRY. I am also taking Printmaking - which I am excited about. I have the same teacher that I had for painting! And then I have two required classes, which I have mixed feelings towards, but I think these will still be enjoyable. One is a called Values and Virtues, which I will be able to tell you more about, once I actually attend the class. From what I understand it is a lot of debating points of views and understanding what our own personal worldview is and how to defend it. The other is Senior Seminar and as an English Major I am taking the Seminar in English… about Jane Austin. I do not desire to take a class on Jane Austin, I am not a fan of her books, but I am excited about the challenge this class will present. We will have to write a twenty-five-page paper.

This list makes me so happy... each color is a different part of my life and so forth...

Sounds like you are off to a good start!

Hope it continues all the way through the end of April.
